The artworks made by Gopal Samantray always express the harnessing problem i.e. global warming. An onlooker always tends to stop for a second and think about it but in some sense bound to deal with it. His works are inspired by the idealization of life where he thinks the way world should act like. The animal figures he uses in his works always show the detachment from their homeland or natural space. In his work how to face on the problem which shows the anxiety of the artist referring how the global warming and deforestation has changed the situation and continuously doing so. In another work titled “untitled work” he portrays the tiger standing at the man made museum and the other elements shown . It implies the unnatural placement of the endangered animal and we don’t care about it. Few other works presents the same aura with the use of free birds and animal of specific region. Precisely in all his works he attempts to show that the mankind has crossed the limit of imagination and wants to create the environment as per their need and choice. inspired by our souraundings, nature, planet etc.
