In just one year, the number of displaced children increased by over 60 per cent, from 800,000 to 1.3 million children. Boys are forced to attack their own families to demonstrate their loyalty to Boko Haram, while girls are exposed to severe abuse including sexual violence and forced marriage to fighters. Some are also used to carry or detonate bombs. The Artwork is a symbolic and conceptual photography representing a life of children who became the victim of suicide bombing.
I am Doing BFA. I love traveling to different places and seek out the pain of people. The theme of my artwork is Terrorism. We all know that the terrorism is something that is causing havoc in this place called earth and it should be stopped before it gets out of our hands. Our society Speaks the Language of Violence where Love remains silent. I believe that each one of us should take an initiative to stand against terrorism fearlessly. Terrorism is like a tree. You keep cutting its branches, but it will continue to grow, but if you want to eradicate it completely, you have to see the roots of the tree. By enlightening people with good beliefs, thoughts, and education we can change their mindset. The power of the word is much greater than using weapons. These things will root out terrorism next day, but it will certainly help to reduce the two common factors which lead a person to choose the path of terror.
My artworks are inspired by the real-life incidents which are a nightmare for us. Some of my artworks show the impact of terrorism in the society as well as the fact that the terrorist can’t abolish with the weapon of violence the only way to deal with terrorism is love. I have been doing art since the age of 3, I have tried different techniques of artworks which include Painting, Abstract, Sketching, installation, Charcoal, Photography, Digital artwork, and Printmaking, still in a process to learn more
