Composition captures the beauty and simplicity of nature but also raises awareness on bird conservation. The rusty textured background complements the soft blue shades of the subject –the beautiful Spix’s macaw which is believed to be now extinct in the wild and is considered as one of the rarest parrot in the world. It is a concoction of creative expression with the harsh reality of life. It makes us realise that some of the unique creations of nature are wild but not free.
