I am doing through my works as the visual images has been frequently been used to convince masses of people to accept beliefs, take action or follow leaders.
This appearance of temple with the bells and its visual appearance along with the auspicious sound left me in a curious state of mind to know the secret behind the hanging bells.
An art is all about feelings, emotions, expressions and imagination. And even though colors are one way of expressing, it isn't limited to that. Infact, creativity extends to different forms, takes different shapes and isn't restricted by the boundaries of age, class, forms, material and any other category defined by the society. The ultimate objective of arts is to challenge every notion and every boundary that is set by the society. Prasoon, a Delhi based artist, firmly believes in this ideology. His work revolves around this ideology and also extends to different ways in which he engages with arts. He completed his Bachelors and Masters in Fine Arts from Jamia Milia Islamia University with painting as his specialization. Through his work, he challenges the notion of 'beauty' and 'waste' and brings out multiple dimensions and ways in which individuals engage with public spaces. His work also captures human forms in relation to 'imagination' and 'reality'. His most acclaimed work around currency depicts the binary of 'construction' and 'destruction'. And his latest series challenges the idea that an art is limited to canvas. In his recent work, he has experimented with different materials and challenged the artist in him, to bring out different layers so that each surface speaks its own reality.
