The eternal radiating beauty of nature inspires me ceaselessly. Moments of those magical, joyful times I spent with my sister, while sitting mesmerising the beauty of the flowers & birds in the lake, we touched the magical lotuses that were blooming like graces out of the beautiful lake. Those times are depicted in this work.

ABOUT MY WORK

My Work emerges as I create the memories of my childhood in the heritage of my village. It is the continuation of my fasination, reminiscence and expresssing out the innconcence of childhood and the deeply grounding, nurturing village life.

The heritage of our pious culture, that embraces nature, the laws of nature and togetherness of man, is my subject, which speaks of life's most natural relationships between human, animals, our community life and spaces.

They are memories attempted to be recreated to remember again what seems to have been lost in time and mind as I grew up.

I long for the oneness with my soil. I crave the interconnectedness of soicety of men where all are one. I long for the natural rhythms of day, and the black velvet night, when we could walk barefoot on cold sand, under moonlight. I know there are others who miss it too, and for me and for them. It is that perhaps I long to bring back that touch through my works.
