Vandana Kothari is an artist from the lovely state of Rajasthan. Her works represent the idea of ‘Little Narratives’ that forms the basis of our day to day experiences. Her style is unique, steeping away from the conventional ideas of linear progressions or developing a ‘signature style’. Her works are bold, powerful and socially relevant.
She has a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Department of History of Art, Visva-Bharati Santiniketan. Alongside her art practice Vandana has been actively engaged in research and teaching. She has been the recipient of the esteemed ‘Artist Teaching Fellowship 2016-17’ sponsored by Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, Delhi and facilitated by Artreach India in collaboration with Udayan Care. She has also taught courses on Art at prestigious institutions like IIT, Kanpur, School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, etc.
Her works have been shown in many important National and International exhibitions including Auctions. Her works are in many private and government collection in India and abroad.
