Bestcollegeart.com is launching its first online auction in July 2017.
Our first of its kind online auction model will have bid value starting as low as Rs. 99. The auction will have no minimum reserve price.
Bestcollegeart.com's monthly auctions will feature six to ten artworks by emerging contemporary Indian artists. One can register with us and acquire some amazing original artworks by promising young artists from India at attractive prices. Buyers can view these works, read artist profiles, compare prices online and bid on available works for auction.
Any one from India or a foreign country is eligible to participate in Bestcollegeart.com’s auctions. The buyer would be required to register for bidding with a refundable deposit of Rs. 99.
We recommend that all buyers keen to participate in the auction, familiarise themselves with auction process, especially the terms & conditions.

STEP 1 - REGISTER/LOGIN
Register as a customer on the Bestcollegeart.com website. If you have already created an account before, simply login and go to auctions from the home page menu bar.
STEP 2 – SUBMIT BILLING INFORMATION TO GET APPROVAL FOR BIDDING.
When the auction is announced on the site, submit your billing information and fill in the registration form. This must be done to get access to bidding.
STEP 3 - BEGIN BIDDING
Once you have successfully submitted the registration form, you can proceed to bid on the auction page.
STEP 4 - PAYMENT AND SHIPPING
Successful bidders will be emailed invoices against their purchases. Once the bidder makes the full payment, the artwork shall be shipped along with the certificate.

How do I view artworks available for auction?
All artworks for the auction have been showcased on the auction page; one can click on the auction tab on home page menu bar to get details.
What is Estimated Price?
Each artwork has an estimated price range. This range is ascertained based on basic minimum selling price for the given artwork in the market. This helps the buyer understand the actual market value of the artwork he is bidding for.
How do I register to bid?
A buyer needs to fill in the registration form on the auction page by clicking on to the auction tab. He will be required to deposit a refundable amount of Rs.99 to be able to bid at the auction and will also be required to agree to the Terms & Conditions. This will give him access to bidding.
How to bid?
Once you have identified the artwork that you would like to bid on, click on "My Bid" and enter the bid amount. Bid amount entered should be equal to or higher than the “Next Bid” amount mentioned for respective artworks.
Can a bid be cancelled?
Post the auction has started; bids can not be cancelled by a bidder. However, Bestcollegeart.com reserves the rights to allow or disallow cancellation at its own discretion.
What is an Opening/Start Bid?
All bids start at Rs.99
How do I track my bids?
Bidders can keep a track of their bids by hitting the "Bid History" link below the "Bid Now" button. By tracking bids for particular lots, bidders can view bid increments, the date and time at which the bid was placed, and what the current bid stands at.
What is the winning bid?
The highest/closing bid at the time of the end of the auction is the winning bid. No further bids can be made after the auction time is over.
Winning bids will be displayed on the auction page at the end of the auction.
What is Buyer’s Premium?
In respect of each sale at the auction, Bestcollegeart.com shall charge a Buyer's Premium calculated at 20% of the winning bid value on each artwork. If the buyer shares his live bids on social media, he will not be charged the 20% buyers premium.
How will I be invoiced?
If you win a bid, you will be sent an email after the close of the auction, containing an invoice for the winning bid plus the buyer’s premium. The invoicing details provided at the time of registration will be used to raise the invoice, and no changes will be accepted after the sale.
What are the Duties and Taxes applicable on my purchase?
We levy 12% GST on all sales within India and an IGST of 12% on all International sales.
How do I make payment?
The buyer who wins has to pay the full closing bid amount within 24 hours of closing of bidding. This payment has to be made online.
When will I get my painting?
The painting will be dispatched within 24 hours of receiving the final payment. Buyers from India will get the painting within an estimated time of 7-10 days, whereas International buyers will get it within 10-15 days.
Alternatively, the buyer may collect his painting from our gallery in Lado Sarai, New Delhi.
Will I be getting any documents along with my painting?
The buyer will get an authenticity certificate signed by the artist and an Invoice from Bestcollegeart.com.
How do I participate in your next auction?
If you are a registered user, you simply have to submit the registration form for the upcoming auction and you get the access to participate.
New buyers have to create their profile on website and then fill in the registration form to get bidding access.
