Description

In this painting, Shivanand want to showcase life's never-ending search for hidden truth through a persona and a library as its central theme. He has portrayed a single character in many roles to depict the various stages of 'Realization' about himself. Here, it is important to notice that by a single character, the artist is trying to assert the fact that even though people are different by nature and thoughts, the underlying truth and destinations about their lives are always same.

Shivanand Shagoti

Hailing from the cosmopolitan city Bengaluru of India, My artworks touch upon various intrinsic values of human society. Being a passionate artist by nature, I have completed my graduation in fine arts from CAVA, University of Mysore.

My artworks, ideas, designs, and innovations are themed around common man's routine life, urbanization, and corruption. Through inspiring and simplistic paintings, I breathe life to human emotions, behavior, modern life issues, and nature. Many of my paintings speak volumes on concerns of society and ways to tackle it in a figurative way. I have taken part in many prestigious art shows and exhibitions.

My paintings also have calmness in it that hold a intriguing element, which invites people to think deeply about these paintings and create our own narrative. Since I experiment with rich tones of colors to bring out a common man's thought process on the canvas, my audience can easily relate to my works and make an instant connection. I live and work in Bangalore.
